It’s that time of year when the leaves change and the colors are magnificent. The cold weather forces the wildlife down and you have a pretty great chance of seeing moose, dear, goats, etc. Many folks from the cities flood the passes in the area to enjoy the fresh air, and a scenery that doesn’t include tall buildings. It’s that time of the year to stop and enjoy the view. Actually see what’s around you. It’s pretty breathtaking if we would only take the time to notice. I was driving up Cottonwood Pass the other day and noticed lots of people stopping to take pictures and motorcyclists enjoying the ride. I was taking it slow with my window down, soaking it all in. And yet some drivers who find themselves in the area fail to notice the beauty around them. It drives me nuts. Life is meant to be lived, not rushed through. Slow down and look around, and enjoy the beauty of autumn.
